Abate, one of today's premier bebop sax players, makes a rare visit to Louisville and celebrates his late friend and musical partner, the alto sax great Phil Woods. Abate, backed by a sterling trio of rhythm players from Louisville and Indy, will play some of the standards he and Phil played together in the last years of Phil's life along with some originals by each of them.
